Graduate School of Globalising Asia

The Graduate School of Globalising Asia develops comprehensive and advanced visions and perspectives focused on the Asian region by an interdisciplinary fusion of economics, business administration, history, international relations, language education, cultural studies, archaeology, heritage conservation & management and cultural policy studies. At the juncture of “global” and “local” in Asia today, we do a serious search into a new approach, and rethink what “global standards” mean in the context of each locality. This School was founded by the School of Asia 21 and the Institute for Cultural Studies of Ancient Iraq, building upon and integrating their achievements in research and education in order to promote advanced research on Asia, and to nurture human resources demanded by globalising Asia.
